Brian Jones Special

I'm honored to be the first to comment on your Brian Jones special, and will start with a heartfelt word of thanks for your excellent coverage of both the Brian Jones legacy and the upcoming film which questions the highly suspicious circumstances surrounding Brian's death in 1969.

Brian's undisputed role as the founder of the Rolling Stones deserves much more prominence in the history of rock 'n roll than has been evident thus far. it is telling that the actors in the movie had little or no knowledge of the man or the musician.

This special edition of your magazine should go a long way toward changing that.

Brian Jones February 2005

Hello! Thanks so much for the beautiful indepth article on my beloved Brian Jones. He has been my favorite person, Stone and musician since I was age 14. I miss him beyond comprehension and have so for all these long years.

I hope Mr. Leo Gregory will portray Brian as only he knows how. And I am sure the other cast members and crew will give it their best to pay tribute to a man who was a fine musician, a sensitive person and the founder of the World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band. Without Brian Jones, Mick, Keith and the rest would be NOT be on stage, famous as they are, and credit should be given to Brian where it is due.

Hopefully the truth will finally be revealed and maybe some action and investigation will take place. Also may Mr. Woolley have a complete success in his Brian Jones movie.

Thanks again for the wonderful article.
