The touching indie-drama, The Visitor, is released in cinemas across the country on July 4 and to celebrate Uncut.co.uk has got a Samsung Digimax L60 camera to give away.
Directed by Thomas McCarthy (The Station Agent) and starring Richard Jenkins (The Kingdom, I Heart Huckabees, Six Feet Under), The Visitor was given rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival.
It tells the tale of a widowed college professor (Jenkins) who finds a young couple, who turn out to be illegal immigrants, living in his apartment. Unable to bring himself to throw them onto the street he becomes inextricably bound up in their lives, dealing with the realities of complicated romantic relationships and the US immigration system.
